OVERVIEW: You are signing up to volunteer at one of the most unique, scenic, wilderness relay courses in the United States – along this 218 mile relay race runners will trace the wild Rogue River through the Cascade Mountains to the wild Oregon coast. This page allows you to sign up as a volunteer for the Wild Rogue Relay on behalf of your non-profit organization. We will contact you at a later date to determine your volunteer location and time. COURSE OVERVIEW: Along the route, the teams will run through the expanding grape vineyards of the Applegate Valley Wineries including Red Lily, Bridgeview, and Troon. NEXT, they will run near the Wild and Scenic Rogue River, much of which is accessible only by boat or on foot. Detailed by author Zane Grey, you are sure to enjoy this sought-after portion of the Rogue River. They will be keeping their eyes open for bald eagle, bighorn sheep, and the occasional rafter. As they pass, they'll check out the remote lodging facilities of Morrison’s Rogue River Lodge, Tu Tu’ Tun Lodge, and the Galice Resort. FINALLY, the teams will make their way to the unspoiled Oregon Coast where they will finish 218 miles later at Azalea Park in Brookings. After we have received your volunteer registration, we will send you an email with important information that can help you be a great volunteer!

PLEASE READ AND AGREE Waiver of Liability: For purposes of this 'Volunteer Release' document, 'Volunteer Activities' means, collectively, all of the activities that I, the undersigned volunteer, will be participating in and tasks I will be performing as a volunteer for and at 'WILD ROGUE RELAY' (the 'Event'), any transportation to, from and between Event locations, and all other activities related to my participation and performance. In consideration of the opportunity to participate in and perform the Volunteer Activities, I acknowledge and agree that: 1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK. Participation in and performance of the Volunteer Activities involves inherent risks and dangers of accidents, personal and bodily injury (including death) and property loss or damage. These may result from my own actions or inactions, as well as the actions or inactions of others, the rules of play, and the condition of the facilities and equipment. Further, there may be other risks not known to me and not reasonably foreseeable at this time. I have considered the nature and extent of the risks involved, and I voluntarily choose to assume all such risks, known and unknown, even those risks that result from the negligence of the Released Parties (defined below) or others and assume full responsibility for my participation in and performance of the Volunteer Activities. I consent to treatment in the event of an emergency or other incident in which, in the reasonable judgment of the on-site personnel, I require medical care. 2. RELEASE OF LIABILITY. I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, estate, insurers, successors and assigns, hereby release, indemnify and hold harmless (the Event') its respective officers, directors, members, employees, agents, representatives, successors, assigns, and insurers, all Event sponsors, advertisers, volunteers, and staff, and all owners or lessors of premises used in connection with the Event (collectively the 'Released Parties') with respect to any and all claims or causes of action I may have for damages for personal or bodily injury, disability, death, loss or damage to person or property relating in any way to the Event or to the Volunteer Activities, whether arising from the negligence of any or all of the Released Parties or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law. 3. AUTHORIZATION TO RECORD AND TO USE RECORDINGS and NAME. I hereby grant to (the 'Event'), its affiliates, subsidiaries, successors, assigns and licensees (collectively) permission to film, photograph, video record and otherwise record my image, voice, or any other aspect of the recording at the Event (collectively the 'Recording') and the perpetual right to use the Recording and my name in any manner or media and for any purposes without any additional consideration. I shall have no right of approval and no legal claim arising out of any use or editing of the Recording or my name. I represent that it is not necessary for (the 'Event') to obtain permission from or to pay any third party in connection with the rights granted in this paragraph. I have read this Volunteer Release, fully understand and agree to its terms, and understand that I am giving up substantial rights by signing it. I sign this Volunteer Release freely and voluntarily, without any inducement or coercion. By agreeing to this Waiver I certify that I am 18 years of age or older or am the parent or legal guardian of the applicant and make these representations on behalf of my child or ward.
PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN MUST READ AND SIGN: I am the parent or legal guardian of the above-named minor, and I agree that the minor may take part in the event activities. I hereby irrevocably and unconditionally agree to all of the terms of the Waiver of Release. I also, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, estate, insurers, successors and assigns, hereby release, indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties (defined in the above Waiver), with respect to any and all claims or causes of action I may have for damages for personal or bodily injury, disability, death, loss or damage to person or property, whether arising from the negligence of any or all of the Released Parties or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law. By agreeing to this Waiver I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian of the applicant and make these representations on behalf of my child or ward.
